Can I set up a joint account?
No, you need to set up your own account with your own login. This is a security measure so we can keep track of individual buyers.
What if I forgot my password?
1. Click the “Log In” tab from the home page.
2. Click “Forgot Password?
3. Enter your email address and submit.
4. Follow the instructions sent to your email
Can I cancel or deactivate my Mercado account?
Yes. Call Customer Service or send an email to support@mercadoauctions.com and request to deactivate your account. You can always create a new account later.
What kind of vehicles do you auction?
We offer a wide variety, including:

Can the general public participate, or is this for dealers only?
Both are welcome! Mercado Auctions serves licensed dealers and the general public. Everyone can register and participate.
How do I know the condition of a vehicle before I bid?
We provide vehicle descriptions, condition reports, and photos for each listing. We encourage all buyers to read the details and, if possible, inspect in person or request more info before bidding.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept wire transfer only to our secure business account. Full payment details will be provided upon winning an auction.
Is there a return or refund policy?
Yes! We offer a 30-Day/200-Hour Buyback Policy on select eligible vehicles. See our Refund Policy page or ask our team for full details.
How do I place a bid during an auction?
Log in to your account, find the vehicle you’re interested in, and click “Place Bid.” You’ll be prompted to confirm your bid before it’s submitted. Bids are binding once placed.
What happens if I win an auction?
If you win, you’ll receive an email with your invoice and payment instructions. Payments must be made within the time specified (usually 48 hours). Once payment is confirmed, pickup or delivery arrangements can be made.
Are there any additional fees?
Yes, in addition to your winning bid, there may be:
Buyer’s premium
Title processing fee
Sales tax (if applicable)
All fees will be clearly listed before checkout.
What if I accidentally placed a bid?
All bids are considered final and binding. If you placed a bid by mistake, contact us immediately at support@mercadoauctions.com. We’ll do our best to help, but bid cancellations are not guaranteed.
What if the vehicle doesn’t match the description?
We strive to provide accurate listings, but if you believe a vehicle was misrepresented, please contact us right away. We’ll review the case and may offer a resolution under our Buyback Policy (if eligible).
How do I get the vehicle title?
Once payment is complete and the transaction is finalized, we’ll process the title and mail it to the registered buyer. Title processing times may vary by state.
Can I sell my vehicle through Mercado Auctions?
Yes! If you’re interested in selling with us, contact our team to learn about listing requirements, fees, and auction dates. We work with both individuals and dealers.
